Book to examine Privatization in Pakistan launched

ISLAMABAD October, 26, 2010: Launching ceremony of the book ‘examining privatization in Pakistan 2006-2010’ was held here in a private hotel on Tuesday.
The book is launched by individualland Pakistan a non-partisan Organization in collaboration with Economic Freedom Network and Friedirch Naumann Stifting fur die Freiheit (FNF).
MR. Zubair Ahmed Malik Chief Coordinator Economic Freedom Network said that Economic Freedom Network (ENF) stands for liberal values such as less government and privatization of state owned entities. He further added that the constant inputs of subsidies have made certain companies an untenable burden for the government, so its better it they are privatize.
Dr. joseph Wilson Member Competitions Commission of Pakistan said that his organization is there to ensure that every company gets its share of prosperity and every intervention is based on merit.
Mr. Siegfried Herzo South Asian Regional Director (FNF) also highlighted the need of more privatization of the government owned entities crisis in Pakistan, its better that the government must privatize those companies that are constantly being run on subsidies.
