Petroleum prices to rise after Ramadan

Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has decided to increase the rate of petroleum items. The rate of petroleum items in the international market has increased one hundred and twelve dollars per Barrel.

OGRA has decided to increase the price of light-diesel Rs.0.70 per litter, Kerosene oil Rs. 0.58 pr litter and high speed diesel Rs.0.55 per litter. These prices will be implemented after Ramadan.

OGRA authorities reportedly said that due to holy month of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr, the present prices will remain unchanged and the increase in petroleum items on international level will be balanced through petroleum subsidy.
