Lok Virsa Planning to organize more Events to Promote Pakistani Heritage: Khalid

Khalid Javaid Executive Director of Lok Virsa talking to INFN has said, “After successfully conducting Lok Mela we made a track for culture promotion through festivals to the entertainment of people of Pakistan and all people gave us a positive feedback and outstanding response because we re-introduced all art forms which were becoming dull and were near to extinction. We promoted art forms like truck art which attracted the visitors and gave them a unique entertainment in the form of paintings.

“We arranged 3 outstanding cultural events last year (2010) in Islamabad, Multan and Muzafarabad with a meaningful purpose to entertain the people of Pakistan and promote art in general. Similarly we also held a festival ‘Faiz Mela’ in Narowal,” Khalid Javaid added.

Executive Director Khalid Javaid further said, “We are planning to organize more meaningful cultural festivals in the different provinces of Pakistan because we want to promote our culture in all Pakistan and it is our motive because in this way we can expose our forefather’s customs and traditions through art work all over the world.
