KF Offers Relief Goods to Flood Victims in Rashidabad
Khubaib Foundation of Pakistan, a philanthropic non-government organization distributed relief goods amongst t 1,000 flood affected families in Rashidabad in the town of Tando Allahyar in the province of Sindh.
Recent downpour in different parts of the country inundated swaths of residential land in some major metropolis in Punjab and Karachi itself while the swollen river Indus once again wreaked havoc in various parts of Sindh.
Khubaib Foundation initial emergency response unit dispatched relief aid consisting of flour, pulse, cooking oil, dry milk and clean drinking water. Truckloads of relief aid arrived on the instruction of Nadeed Ahmed Khan Chairman Khubaib Foundation and were distributed among 1000 flood affected families of Rashidabad, Tando Allahyar under the supervision of Col (r) Niaz director relief from Khubaib Foundation.
Current estimates put the displaced persons of Sindh at 6 million which means that the Pakistani nation has once again rise to help of their fellow brothers, said director relief adding that no one organization can take up charge of the flood affected and a consolidated effort is need of the hour.
Chairman Khubaib Foundation, invited by international philanthropic organization the IHH of Turkey for a 3-week tour of Somalia on his arrival to Pakistan convened a meeting in the head office of Khubaib Foundation during which he said that further help is under way for the 07 flood affected districts of Sindh. We also plan to launch a telethon to muster support, donations and appeal to emotion of the people to come forward and extend help to the Sindh flood victims, added Nadeem Khan.
