Optimistic Generation:

Financial constraints compel millions like Hamza to work

God has given humans the benefit of wisdom and the discretion to think about the universe around and to draw conclusions. That is why human beings have done wonders in every field of life.

Children are the flowers of the heaven and are purist creation of the God. They are the beauty of this life. No doubt they are the precious assets of every country. We feel very good when we get our children various dresses and uniform of school. We get them ready for school for getting knowledge. They look gorgeous and our hearts become happy by looking at their innocent faces.

But on the other side there are children who cannot afford to attend schools but watch others when they leave for school. This is because of the financial constraints. They have to work to win livelihood and to support their families. They are also part of the society who have forgotten the good days and happiness of childhood. Without doing any work their survival becomes unthinkable.

Hamza Ali, 10 is also a victim of the same fate like millions of others in Pakistan. He works at a workshop of refurbishing and painting of old vehicles. He is thinking of becoming a great painter one day. He does not go to school due to the miserable state of affairs of their households but is compelled to assist his brother in painting and colouring cars. He works at his brother’s place to multiply his brother’s business. It has been only one year that he has started working.

“I would become the best painter in the near future. I like to work practically that’s why I start to work in this place along with my brother. Our household’s financial condition is also pathetic. I want to give relief to my parents in future when they would be growing old.” He said while talking to INFN.

He said that he works with his brother from dawn to dusk without getting a single penny and he never gets time to scratch his head. But anyhow he hopes for the best and thinks that one day he would also be having his own painting shop.

His father is also a labourer. He works in someone’s house in Islamabad. He says that he would only require 2 more years to get complete command over the skill of painting. “This is my passion and I have determined to do the best out of this profession one day,” he optimistically shared this with this scribe.

Passion and curiosity of work should be like this little boy who had scarified his joys of childhood striving hard to pursue his passion-cum-obligation. Such children are a pride for our country as well as a matter of shame as we have such courageous boys but failed to provide them their basic right to education.

Our future generation is going to bring changes in the whole scenario of this country. They are very optimistic about their country which is going to progress like China and Japan soon because if a little and innocent child is so much determined despite zero opportunity provided to him in this country, what to talk of those who have been trained in systematic fashion.
