ILO holds award competition

ISLAMABAD, NOVEMBER 4, 2010: International Labor Organization (ILO) announced to hold a National Level Competition on best media reporting on child labor issue covered during Jan 2009 and Nov 10, 2010, under its project “Activating Media in Combating Child Labor in Pakistan”.

The best selected media published and broadcast work on child labor issues would be given awards under various categories.

The awards will be given for the categories of news package, news discussion programme, documentary video and jingle for electronic media. The awards for each category of print media work included news report, article/feature and picture will be awarded

Journalists of electronic and print media will participate in the ILO Award competition and they would send their published and broadcast work till Nov 15. The award ceremony will be held on Nov 20.
