SDPI to Hold Seminar:
‘The Price of Writing Truth in Pakistan’

SDPI is holding a seminar on Monday titled ‘Mortal Threat to Journalist; The Price of Writing Truth in Pakistan’. The prominent speakers will be Muhammad Zia-ud-Din, Executive Editor, Express Tribune, Mr. Zahid Hussain, Media Analyst, Mr. Pervaiz Shaukat, President, Pakistan Federal Union of Journalist, Mr. Rana Asim, Secretary, National Press Club, Islamabad, and Mr. Umar Cheema, Special Investigative Correspondent, The News. The seminar will be chaired by Mr. Shafqat Munir, Senior Advisor, Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI). The seminar will start on 03:00pm and will end on 05:00pm. The venue will be SDPI Seminar Hall, 38, Embassy Road, G-6/3, Islamabad and the entry to the seminar is open to all.
