CBOs should focus mobilization of domestic resources: SDPI

Community Based Organizations (CBOs) must focus mobilization of domestic resources through promotion of volunteerism, networking, collaboration, information exchange, lobbying and advocacy, said Gulbaz Ali Khan, Senior Research Associate, Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) while presenting the findings of a recently conducted joint research study of SDPI and Plan-Pakistan on ‘local resource mobilization for CBOs in district Chakwal’ in a validation workshop held in Chakwal on Thursday.

Maqsood Jan, Research Coordinator, Plan-Pakistan, Moeed Khan, Advisor Plan-Pakistan and Zeeshan Ahmad, Incharge Project Management Unit (PMU) Chakwal, Plan-Pakistan along with the representatives of twenty five local CBO's from the district Chakwal attended the workshop.
