Serving Music:
‘Talent Hunt’ to commence at PNCA
Children’s singing competition titled ‘Talent Hunt’ is to be held on 27 and 28 May, 2011 as scheduled by Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at PNCA auditorium, where diverse school and college students under the age 15 to 18 would show their potential.
Director General PNCA, Touqeer Nasir will be the chief guest of the competition and would be distributing trophies to participants getting 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in this competition on the end of the competition.
While talking to INFN, Program Organizer Nafeesa Fatima said, “We are providing opportunity to young talent to bring out and display their inner skills, talent and mindset through singing and they have to demonstrate and articulate their hidden qualities of singing. I wish they adopt this singing profession as career not as hobby because we are giving them a platform and stage where they can explore their talent and hidden qualities.”
This singing competition is being organized by Children Art Workshop (CAW) of PNCA and is a great move to serve the suffering music industry in Pakistan by encouraging the innovative singers who are going to magnetize the attention of music lovers at PNCA. Such events and competitions go a long way to explore the new gems of singers that we need so desperately.
