Donates 50 thousand for flood affectees putting a camp in front of IPC
The top-most and the most popular celebrity of the Pakistani film industry start a fund raising campaign by putting a camp in front of the Islamabad Press club in collaboration the president IPC Afzal Butt.
She said while contributing Rs50 thousand for the flood affected people of Sindh which have been lying there groining and fighting with miseries of the flood and there is no one to help them out. She said, “I appeal to the entire stakeholder, civil society and all those who are somehow living a good life and are business man. This is not only the responsibility of the government that they would be helping the flood affectees but it’s also our collectively and national responsibility to sort out their problems by contributing money according to their statues”.
“I am with you the flood affected people of the Sindh and by the grace of Allah will bring you out of the miseries as much as I can by contributing money from people across Pakistan. I would also visit other press clubs in other cities of Pakistan. I have also appeals to my colleagues who are in the film industry to also donate some amount. If you cannot contribute any at least you could have a visit those flood affected areas in the Sindh in order to give them solace and enquire about their miseries the way they are facing these days and it is the utmost importance of the day is well that we all get together to work for the rehabilitation of those people who crying for the help”. She said while talking to the media in front press club Islamabad.
The whole Sindh is inundated with the water and people have been facing the miseries in the open sky and there is no one who could enquire about them. The government alone cannot do any thing unless we all contribute to this national issue.
She stresses that all those money/fund which they would be raising in different cities including Rawalpindi and Islamabad would be used for giving the two very important basic necessities of life. The first is the utmost necessity of the portable water and the second is the two time meals a day which is inevitable to live. She said, “I would be visiting all those areas of the Sindh which have been destroyed in the flood and would also give them food and water besides other basic necessities of life.
